Boston indies The Solars have just unearthed their brand new single titled "Potter's Field/Dockery". The song's warm, mellow, and inviting nature will definitely comfort your eardrums as the song picks up in intensity with its vivacious percussion melodies and overall musical enjoyment infecting you from the onset as the track settles in. You may remember these guys from my post a couple of months ago when I featured their debut single "Old K.B." that exemplifies the band's musical mission and integrity. On this new track, frontman Miles Hewitt continues to shine and levitate musically with his intricate vocals working wonders, and contributes a great deal overall to the sound of the band that is reminiscent of Fleet Foxes in its ability to capture the emotion of the environment around them that permeates long after the song has concluded. An immensely enticing local act that is starting to pick up steam at this very moment.

To check out "Potter's Field/Dockery" for yourself, it's available on Soundcloud over here, and for more on The Solars please 'Like' them on Facebook at this junction here and check out their official homepage for more in depth surrounding them at this perch here.
