Charlestown's own native punk-rockers Duck & Cover will be making an appearance in Allston at O'Brien's next Saturday 6/17. The collective have been a mainstay in the Boston area for a few years now, with their brilliant and incendiary punk-rock stylings attracting fans from left and right, and even getting those who aren't traditional punk-rock fans knee deep into the scene. These guys have been featured sporadically on the site over the last few years, and I always appreciated how they stuck to their guns and always remained true to who they are as musicians, and never strayed off the beaten path. It's about knowing where you came from musically and your surroundings in the Boston area, and Duck & Cover certainly know how to make people happy with their raw and pounding punk-rock melodies that will get you into the musical melee right away along with all the other acts that will be gracing you with their presence that evening.
