Local Boston indie sensations The Solars are setting up for a prime gig happening this Sun. 6/25 at O'Brien's in Allston where they'll be joined by Littleboybigheadonbike and Mitch Van Bree. The band have been gaining some steam and traction as of late with their brand new video for "Goddess In The Suburbs", that is beyond surreal and evokes the band artistic and creative drive that is brimming with all sorts of possibilities and majestic wonders right in front of you. Frontman Miles Hewitt molds and crafts each song meticulously until it reaches a point where it has sufficient weight and carry to go out on its own, and cause some mayhem and commotion on a musical level. I was blown away from these guys the minute I heard their first single "Old K.B.", and I instantaneously knew they had some magic power and essence within them that spoke volumes about their ingenuity and craft that are taking their music into impressive avenues where their sound is flourishing and accomplishing more than the band would have ever dreamed of. An impressive local act that is beginning to really hit their stride right now as we speak.
