Boston based singer-songwriter Dylan Rockoff has just released his brand new song today titled "Come Over". The track shows a musical evolution that is leaps and bounds ahead of his prior material, and sees him getting more personal and direct within the context of the lyrics. His style is a mostly acoustic affair, but with more of a R&B styled flare that allows him to connect with the listener on a much more personal and potent affair that will really have audience members swooning. Dylan has been featured on the site a few times before, and I always marveled at his ability to go against the grain of what is expected of him and not to get too mired in the style of all the other singer-songwriters out there today. On this new single, you can clearly tell he wants to get more up close and personal with lyrics saying that he wants to "start freaking on you" and asking "if you want a piece of me", which would make any woman blush and fall head over heels for Dylan's suave charm that reeks of sophistication, and puts Dylan in an entirely different class of his own. With me and Dylan sharing something in common being fellow Northeastern Huskies, he has really stepped up his game and made himself known to even more people from all over as his recent gig opening up for Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden clearly suggests. An absolute banger of a track that will have Dylan making you sweat bullets all summer long.
To take a listen to "Come Over", it's available for download on iTunes right over here and on a host of digital streaming platforms as well. Don't forget to 'Like' him on Facebook via this perch here to stay in touch with him musically, and to get a heads up on any shows coming your way also.
