Boston based rockers Jack Romanov are gearing for a big local show happening next Thur. 8/10 at The Mid East Downstairs. Sponsored by the fine folks over at WEMF Radio, JRV will be performing alongside a stacked lineup along with the likes of Box of Birds, Rookin, Husbands, The Shift, The Penthouse, and Dionysia. Jack Romanov have been a favorite of mine over the last couple of years now, as they put on an incendiary live set that encapsulates the creative ingenue that is omnipresent between everyone in the band, and also allows every emotion possible to be put right in front of the audience for all to marvel over. This will also be the last show for bassist Esteban Cajigas as he is moving to Los Angeles at the end of the month. While the band will be continuing and soldering on, Esteban's presence will be sorely missed as he contributed a great deal of depth and emotional clarity to the group that made them a little different than most other acts out there today. What made JRV's shows so memorable was the fact that you were going to get a quality performance each and every time, and also that Esteban was going to take off his shirt much to the delight of everyone gathered in attendance. Definitely a show that you don't want to miss!
