Vancouver, BC based folkie Jordan Klassen has released his new serene and beautiful tune titled "Housefly". The track is a pure, organic number with mellow acoustic interludes woven in to give the song an old school flavor reminiscent of Noah and The Whale, with a more modern sensibility thrown in for good measure that balances between the modern and vintage sounds mixed in together. I was very impressed with Jordan from the start, and he really seems to have a firm grasp of who he is a musician, and what image he wants to convey to his audience. It's really awe inspiring when musicians draw influence from their contemporaries to give a balanced view of the world at large to draw inspiration from, and where the audience can marvel over his talents and who he is as a person away from the guitar also. An immense talent whom won't be the last you'll hear from here on the site.
