Based out of Fort Collins, CO comes the indie/surf rock infused sounds of Slow Caves, who will be playing a local show this Saturday, 10/7 at O'Brien's in Allston alongside Teenender and Deep Secret. The band is comprised of Danish born brothers Jakob and Oliver Mueller, alongside with their good pals David Dugan on guitar and bass, and Jackson Lamperes on drums. The collective have a vintage, fresh updated 80's synth vibe look, mixed in with early 90's indie rock to cater to the best of both worlds, and offer up a little something that pleases everyone and makes sure that no one gets left out in the cold. I had a great time listening to these guys, and there was definitely a X factor about them that made me want to continue listening and pick up on their vibe and the sheer musical message that they were trying to convey to their audience. You'll definitely find a common ground with Slow Caves, so if you're looking for something to do this Saturday night, look no further than these guys to pull you out of your musical funk.
