Boston's Dutch Tulips Gearing For 1/17 O'Brien's Show Alongside Monkeys Of A Bygone Era

Local rock phenoms Dutch Tulips are gearing up for a big local show happening this Thur. 1/17 at O'Brien's in Allston where they'll be joined by Monkeys Of A Bygone Era and Babydriver. The guys are putting the finishing touches on their brand new album that should see the light of day relatively soon, and are eager to see some lovely faces in front of them when they play some of their tunes. The group consists of Jack Holland on lead vocals and guitar, Michael Holland on bass, Justin Mantell on guitar and synth, and Matt Freake on drums. You may remember the guys from the features I've done on them prior, and they have a tremendous garage rock sound that is reflective of their musical influences, and of their surroundings performing in and around the Boston area. I really gravitated towards their aura and musical presence when I first discovered them, and they definitely have that staying power that will allow the listener to have an attention span to keep the guys in their memory, and have them keep coming back for more. A terrific local act that is most certainly worth the price of admission.
