Boston based soul-folk artist Alec Hutson is breaking big onto the scene with his brand new album titled "Reactions". His style is based upon a fusion of soul and folk that creates a truly electric combo that is hypnotizing and relaxing when you encounter his sound for the first time. I thought that there was a great balance of the two aforementioned genres, and there is enough of a sound there for me to draw a first impression on Alec from the start. He definitely has a strong musical presence about him, and he has a incredible musical self-esteem and a sense of which direction his music is headed moving forward. Another component that he has is staying power, and he definitely has the goods to make it in the scene, and outside the region as well. A truly remarkable artist that is worthy of discovering firsthand.
