Boston based Andrew DiMarzo Trio is gearing up for their EP release show happening this Thursday, Feb. 28 at Thunder Road in Somerville. The new effort is titled "Bare Bones", and joining them alongside for the event will be The Drunk Monkeys, Lady Lupine, and Dan Cristo. The trio are no stranger to the site having been featured multiple times over, but if you haven't gotten the chance to check them out in concert this will be your ideal opportunity to experience their sound live. When I checked them out at The Mid East Upstairs several months ago, their creative dynamic and musical force was quite apparent, and it really made me appreciate the band's sound that much more. The other acts that will be performing that night, especially The Drunk Monkeys who have a little psychedelia mixed into their sound, provide for an eclectic night that will satisfy the musical tastes of everyone in the room. Definitely make it your mission to check out Andrew DiMarzo Trio and who knows, you may find your next favorite local band waiting in the wings!
