Boston based indie outfit Jakals are teaming up with local mainstays Today Junior and Dutch Tulips for a big local show happening this coming Sun. June 2 at Hong Kong in Cambridge located right in Harvard Square. Jakals have been featured on the site numerous times before, and I had the chance of interviewing the group as well for my podcast where I became intimately familiar with their dynamic sound that brings together a host of influences from various genres, and also learns to incorporate the individual influences of each member into something truly special and unique. The outfit consists of Katie Solomon on vocals, Jack Lewis on guitar, Bredon Jones on guitar, Zach Wulderk on bass, and Teryn Citino on drums. There is a unique balance of tempo between all the bands featured on this bill, and definitely offers up a little something for everyone as the summer concert season begins to get into full swing.
