From across the pond in Liverpool, UK comes the dynamic singer-songwriter stylings of Adam Jay, who has just unleashed his debut EP onto the world called "Matchbox". The fresh faced youngster has been making waves as of late with his booming voice and effervescent, care free attitude that is apparent the moment the music begins. His lyrics reflect on life growing up in Liverpool, and his longing to find solace and success outside the confines of his hometown that many other musicians can relate to wholeheartedly. I was impressed with Adam's talents right from the start, and he clearly demonstrates that he has all the necessary components to make it a long way in this business. Many of the songs on the effort including "Psychokiller" and "Liz" reflect Adam's high energy style, along with his good looks and laid back demeanor that make him all the more worth listening to. A fantastic talent that is definitely worthy of discovering for the first time.
