Bangor, ME's Pride and Joy Milk Street Set To Play Cantab Lounge in Cambridge Tonight 5/1

From the wilderness of Bangor, ME comes the indie infused sounds of Milk Street, who will be playing the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge tonight to kick off the month in May in grand fashion with music fans and enthusiasts flocking from all over to get their local music fix. I've been enamored with Milk Street for some time, as they have an original, eclectic musical blend that is genreless in fashion and has a potent energy to it where you won't be standing still when you see them live. I had the opportunity of interviewing frontman Jonah Wakefield for my podcast a couple of years ago, and he's a charismatic and fun loving fellow who adds a certain magic to the group that complements the band's existing instrumental framework that weaves in and out through the musical nooks and crannies that are present at every turn. When you hear their music and match that to their live set, it'll make all the more sense in the world when you see it develop. An immensely talented and promising act that needs to be experienced.
