Salem, MA based alt/grunge quartet The Fools Agenda are back in listeners eardrums on their brand new single released to the world today titled "Dumb (Take Me Out)". The song is a fast paced, 2 minute and 20 second jam that moves and screams like a banshee with lead singer Rhiannon Raine's hypnotic vocals moving ferociously and setting the frenetic pace of the song that never lets up until right the very end. I've been intimately familiar with the band having featured them multiple times over on the site and interviewed them on the cast before, and they have a innate mystique about them that is equal parts fascinating and refreshing as they have a genreless odor to them that allows the band to musically color outside the lines, and have listeners draw their own conclusions about where they fall under. That kind of mentality is refreshing and something that is sorely lacking in the music scene these days, and The Fools Agenda certainly have an unrelenting power to them that needs to be seen in person in order to be believed. A tremendous song from an act that is only gaining in power and stature from this moment out.
