Today's Artist Spotlight sees us heading down south to San Marcos, TX and in the comfort of the folk duo known as The Oh Hellos! The duo consists of the brother and sister team of Tyler and Maggie Heath, who provide for a unstoppable one-two punch with Maggie's vocals adding a great deal of beauty and sophistication, and Tyler's complementing backup vocals combined with all the ambient instrumentation upfront gives listeners an immediate jolt of enthusiasm and joy listening to the music in its finished form. With the folk rock movement now rampant among today's music scene as we know it, this duo adds a little something different to the mix that makes them stand out among the other similarly minded acts out there, and gives the listeners an opportunity to discover the unheralded musical beauty that is just laying in the wings waiting for an open ear to devote some time to.
