Boston based folk rockers Dan & The Wildfire have just released their latest track titled "Austin, TX". A fitting title for the city and state where the annual SXSW festival is held each year around this time, the track features the band's trademark folk stylings into a whole new arena with more spaced out arrangements, but still retains that sensibility that got them started in the first place. The track is a preview of things to come for their forthcoming studio release, "Bull Moose" which will see the light of day on March 31. These guys continue to put a smile on my face each and every time I listen to them, and they really perfectly capture that emotional wavelength that is the core of what folk music is really about and have taken it to a whole different level this time around on their new material.
