Boston based rockers Somos have just unveiled the first musical nugget off their brand new LP that is due out this Friday 2/19. The new track called "Reminded/Weighted Down" has a decidedly college rock feel to it, with a more modern aesthetic thrown in that balances everything out, and enhances their sound greatly that is resulting from their musical influences. The fellas have been featured numerous times before on the site, and judging from what I've heard so far, 2016 is definitely primed to be their year with this new effort that bridges the gap and moves the band that much higher on the list of must see acts from Beantown. This new album is almost guaranteed to gain them instant name recognition and credibility that is already soaring stratospherically right now as we speak. If you haven't seen them live, they'll be doing their thing on March 3rd over at The Middle East Upstairs, and I highly recommend that you get your tickets now as this show is guaranteed to sell out in a hurry. A tremendous local act that is starting to enter the pantheon of great local musical jewels to shell out of the 617 area code.
