Orlando, FL based indie-funk quartet Sweet Cambodia have just put out their amazing new track called "Sky". The track is a eclectic mixture of indie and funk influences that work together insanely well, and puts their name right out in the open as a band who know how to live it up on stage, usually while covered in sweat and performing shirtless most of the time that arouses the crowd and allows one another to vibe off of each other too. Their sound is reminiscent of 311 and Incubus with their own quirky and offbeat personalities to go along and match that makes them that much more appealing to the music listener passing by. When I first listened to this track, I was impressed by the band's musicality and their ability to be on the same page musically with interwoven dynamics and rich musical textures that sends their sound right into the stratosphere. These guys have that X factor and edge to them that makes them so appealing to the music junkie like myself, and there are sure to be countless others that will gobble up whatever these handsome and talented gents are serving up.
