From the mean streets of Brooklyn comes the diverse garage soul sounds of Evolfo, who will be playing at Mid East Upstairs next Wednesday 6/29. The guys have a sound similar to that of The Black Keys, but with an infusion of psychedelia that really hints at the band's musical diversity that is omnipresent every which way you turn. You can trace the band's origins to back at Berklee where they started out as a basement party act performing in the wee hours of the morning, all while developing their signature sound that has the fan's flocking in droves and grooving out. There's something unique and original about these guys as they're crafting their own musical identity that is building ever so quickly at the moment. The guys will be releasing their brand new LP "The Last of The Acid Cowboys" come September that will introduce even more legions of fans to their growing arsenal.
