Locally based singer songwriter Casey McQuillen is starting to make an impression on listeners with her just released, brand new single titled "Beautiful". The Berklee alum makes her presence known with her amazing vocals and simply structured melodies that let the listener in to the strong, solid foundation of the song that is just brimming with potential. You may remember Casey from her appearance on American Idol back in Season 13, and parlayed that appearance into something positive during her time at Berklee where she created the "You Matter" concert series that traveled to over 100 middle and high schools throughout the New England region promoting an anti-bullying message that is a prevalent issue among the youth of today, and something that is of real and genuine importance to Casey as well. It's great that Casey is using her musical platform for a much deeper meaning, and attaching it to a social cause is something very special and puts Casey that much higher on the musical pedestal.
