Jaffrey, NH based Amos Fortune have released their brand new, double sided single called "Long Night/Resolution". The band is composed of former members of bands from across different genres all over New England, and that characteristic alone gives them an added advantage right away with their raw, potent blend of rock clearly put on display. Their sound is a mixture of Dropkick Murphys and other assorted artists thrown in there for good measure, but the band's personality is what really sets them apart on these two singles that gives different flavors of the band, sort of like a musical Neapolitan that caters to listeners from across the whole spectrum. I decided to give these guys a chance as they weren't like the other groups coming up these days, and that was the underlying point as they have that X factor, binding charisma, and musical self-esteem that will most certainly take them a long way in this business. A remarkable up and coming band that is worthy of exploring even further.
