Boston's own Dylan Rockoff is gearing up for the release of his debut album "115 Gainsborough" this coming Friday, to be followed by a release show happening next Mon. 10/16 @ Cafe 939 just steps away from Berklee College of Music. You may have caught wind of the first two singles released from the effort, "Come Over" and "Say My Name" which have hinted at a more bold, sophisticated direction for Dylan that sees him showing his sensual side that we'd never thought we would see. Right now in plain view, we see Dylan flexing his musical chops into something quite extraordinary and the title of the album reflects the address where he lived at Northeastern, honing his life experiences there and the connections he forged into an album that reflects where Dylan currently is at his stage in life, ready to make the most of everything he has and put it in all towards his music career. Judging by the first two singles, this album is going to be nothing short of extraordinary and may creep up as a late arrival on some "best of" year end lists as a result. A marvelous talent who is only beginning to just scratch and discover his true character on the surface.
