Boston based indie collective Oh Malo have made a stunning return with their darker edged new single "Don't Look, Don't Stare". The song has a polarizing beauty to it even though the song deviates greatly from the band's polished indie rock song best exemplified on their last album "As We Were". Frontman Brandon Hafetz is able to unlock his musical soul even more on this sonic marvel that really proves that Oh Malo aren't just a one trick pony. They're a remarkable tour de force capable of achieving anything that they set their minds to. What's really remarkable about this new track is its unflinching honesty and ability for the members to undress themselves emotionally, and expose their true innermost selves to everyone around them. This was a bold musical endeavor that will most certainly pay off dividends for them in the long run, and am so pleased that they took this massive step that has emboldened them, and have made a metamorphosis into a group that are wise beyond their years.
