Boston based folkie upstart Prateek is making a big impact on listeners with his debut single titled "Emma". The tune has a simple, elegant, and beautiful structure to it that sounds so polished, it's as if Prateek has been a musician all his life. He first got involved with playing music back in middle school when he first picked up a guitar, and cites Ryan Adams as one of his primary inspirations and influences when it comes to being a musician. The most important thing I can grab from listening to Prateek's music is how beautiful of a person he is inside and out with his comforting voice guiding you into the light, and there for you in times of need and is an able bodied soul with a true commitment to music and making a difference in people's lives. Judging from the first song, he definitely left a big impact on me and I'm almost certain that he'll do the same to you.
