Fresh from the Buckeye State in Columbus, OH comes the warm and inviting sounds of The Candescents, who have just released their sparkling new single called "Boyfriend", and will be stopping by Sonia in Cambridge this Wednesday, 6/13. The new track is a refreshing jolt of summertime energy that should give you ample reason to fall in love with these handsome and talented gents. The outfit consists of Alex Harris, Alex von Lehmden, Miguel Alfredo Acero III, and Cody von Lehmden. They bring back that longing for summertime and all the emotions associated with it, and have that youthful exuberance that makes you appreciate summertime and being with the ones that you care about that much more. I was instantly floored the minute I heard this track, and really found myself in great company with the guys who all have immense talent, and really have a knack for creating subtle, catchy hooks that anyone will fall head over heels for. A beyond talented act that is ready to get up close and personal with listeners on a more musically intimate level.
