Boston based singer-songwriter Prateek is back with his brand new single titled "The Gang's All Gone". The song has a mellow, relaxing folk interlude with spurts of The Decemberists thrown in to accentuate Prateek's laid-back vocal presence that immediately makes you feel at ease upon first note. Prateek was featured on the site last year with his previous single "Emma", and I remarked at how he was approaching things on a musical perspective differently than some other musicians in the area. What sets Prateek apart from all the others is that he relies on the people around him and his life experiences to guide him through, making his music all the more relatable to the average listener. Having that ability to connect deeply with anyone who's listening will definitely carry you a long way forward in your career. Prateek is already well on his way of achieving just that with his new tune.
