Boston based pop-punkers Start The Week Over make a hell of a first impression with their debut single out today called "Daisytop". The three-man band consists of Bobby Gioiosa on lead vocals and guitar, Matt Wikstrom on guitar, and Stephen Dorris on drums. The three best friends formed the group last year as a way for channeling their love of old 90's Nickelodeon TV shows, and parlaying that along with their love of pop-punk melodies which come off as being infectious and indelible earworms that you won't be able to get out of your system. I was positively stunned at what I was hearing and at how perfect it was, and how melodically explosive each of the charges were. I happen to be great friends with Matt whom I met while attending hockey games at Northeastern, and realized that we had a common bond when it comes to sharing our passion for music to the world. Hearing Matt's new outfit makes me even more prouder to know him, and shows to the world how brilliant and talented he is along with his bandmates who have created something truly spectacular here. A splendid track that helps you enjoy the rest of the summer the right way.
