Kalamazoo, MI's own Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers are set for a big show happening next Wednesday, 9/11 at ONCE Somerville alongside Los Elk. These guys have a tremendous sound that is a bit hard to quantify, but it mixes in hints of psychedelia and folk to create a blend that is musically explosive and grabs your attention almost instantaneously. I had the pleasure of seeing these gents last year at Mid East Donwstairs, and seeing them live really makes you appreciate them that much more with the technicolor charged outfits of Joe Hertler and company, along with the tremendous sax abilities of Aaron Stinson to create a group that is so outrageously talented, your head will be spinning. I was blown away by the aura surrounding this band, and they'll definitely have an impact on you as well as their sound that really makes you appreciate life itself that much more, and bring out the best in everyone they come in contact with.
