Formerly based in Boston comes the indie outfit Aloud, whom have released their brand new single onto the world today titled "Live TV". The song is a pleasant, easy going ride with a bevy of advanced musical rhythms coupled with the band's trademark harmonies that grabs your attention immediately upon first listen. I wasn't sure what to make of the song when I first listened to it, but I gradually settled in and saw the band's evolution take shape and make great leaps and bounds from where they first were. The vocals of Jen de la Osa definitely evoke a sense of calm and charisma that has made them such a standout act to begin with. Now based out in Los Angeles, the band clearly haven't forgotten about their hometown roots, and continue to make their base proud by showcasing their musical growth that has allowed them to spread their boundaries and make their presence known to people far beyond the confines of Boston. A tremendous act that is worthy of exploring if you haven't already.
