Boston based indie collective Dutch Tulips are back with a vengeance on their brand new single, "Tell Me Your Codes" that came out last week. The song is an unavoidable, catchy earworm with a plethora of "do-do-do's" spread throughout to give you a little extra pep in your step as spring begins to sprout on everyone around. The band consists of Jack Holland on guitar and lead vocals, his brother Michael on bass and vocals, Justin Mantell on guitar, synth, and vocals, and Matt Freake on drums and vocals. The band are no strangers to the site, having been featured a couple of times before with their prior single "Hat", and had the pleasure of interviewing the gents for my podcast as well. What these guys do extraordinarily well is that inject a sense of vivacious energy throughout their music that gets the audience involved, and has that ability to keep that crowd in the palm of their hand who will then gladly reciprocate that love in return. I was hooked onto these guys from the start, and they know how to craft gorgeous melodies that show no signs of getting old whatsoever. An outstanding track that is definitely repeat and playlist worthy.
