Boston's Own Jake Swamp and The Pine Go "Outside The Studio" on New Live EP

Boston based folk outfit Jake Swamp and The Pine have released their brand new live EP just last week titled "Outside The Studio". The effort shows the band in their element, performing outdoors in their natural habitat as only they would have it, basking in the comfort and glow of their fellow bandmates and the great outdoors that influences them greatly while also helping them conjure up songs in the first place. Among one of the tracks on the effort is a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "I'm on Fire" that the band add their own spin and flavor to, which definitely evokes a sense of companionship and togetherness that is in great demand in these times. Some original material on the effort includes the upbeat "Dancing With The Devil" that lightens the mood substantially, and shows a melodic side of the group that we've been dying to see for some time. Drew and Stu are no strangers to the site having been featured many times here, and they're great musical souls who have a great deal of character and talent embedded deep within them, as well as Drew's majestic and beautiful beard to keep listeners occupied while listening to them. An incredible effort that showcases a band making the most of what they have.
