Southend-on-Sea, UK based indie trio In Earnest have unleashed their debut single onto the world today titled "Put Me Under". The trio consists of Thomas Eatherton, Sarah Holburn, and Toby Shaer. The band's sound is reared upon a low key, somber indie sound that immediately makes you take note of the emotion being poured upon you, and allows you to feel the same emotional connection that the band conjured up in the studio. I really felt the band's prowess and musical talents almost instantaneously, and it almost feels like a good book that you can't put down with the band's entire musical story being put on display for everyone to marvel over and watch unfold right before their ears. This trio has such an intriguing and authoritative presence that you can't help but to be spellbound by their musical resolve, and see their story progress as the song goes along. An incredibly promising new act that I look forward to hearing great things about in the not too far distant future.
