Hingham, MA based youngsters Toast have given fans a preview of their upcoming album with the recent premiere of their brand new single "The Loop". The song has a mellow, relaxing complexion to it that will literally stun you the moment you hit play. It's astounding to me that this type of talent is coming from a band this young, and they have definitely proven that their musical skills and talent are far advanced for a collective just starting to find their way. What's unique about the group is that they are formed and supported by the David Jodka Scholarship for Future Rockers, and they get together weekly for band rehearsals over at the South Shore Conservatory. Having this regimented schedule early on helps build up the band's musical resolve and dexterity for sure, and enables them to develop and hone their talents so that they can get a head start on the competition and prepare for bigger opportunities coming around the corner. I was amazed by the brilliance of this collective, and this is only the beginning for this young and promising act right out of the South Shore.
To check out "The Loop" for yourself, it's available for streaming on Bandcamp right over here, and for more on Toast please give them a 'Like' on Facebook from this locale here, and follow their adventures over on their Instagram feed conveniently located here.
